March 18, 2020: Yesterday I did yet another glorious thing via Zoom, which for a lot of people is becoming de rigeur. A pal sent out a link to a "Move-Meditate-Heal" free workshop with Michelle Boulé, one of her friends and heroines. These are both magnificent women among the legions offering their services free as a means of support amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, and it felt delicious to indulge. This was my second workshop with Michelle - the first was under less dire circumstances, but felt equally delicious. She's deeply relatable, right down to her dimples, and she has the sort of smile that feels like a hug, which is even more of an asset than it's ever been before. Important reminders from her: hydration helps emotional flow, and one thing about being in quarantine is that, at those for those securely sheltered, embarrassment can really be thrown to the wind - so move around however feels best, make whatever sounds you desire, feel your feelings, and feel them in your body, not just your mind. As she put it, your "heart field" extends at least 15 feet beyond your body - swim in it! Share it! Flex the hell out of it! (Photo by Alexander Leslie Thompson, I think?)
