May 9, 2023: My favorite transcription gig is doing the artist lectures for Skowhegan. I emailed Gordon Hall very quickly after swooning all over their lecture; I was wildly tickled to get an immediate, enthusiastic personal response from their studio address. Animating the inanimate is something I'm drawn to and relate to deeply, though I've yet to take it to Hall's heights.
