Nicole was a special bonus for my toddler pal, being one of his very own letter carriers. We bumped into her on her way out of his building, as we were on our way in. Letter carriers are particularly invisible in big cities, where it can seem that mail simply appears miraculously. Part of my mission is making this visible, and the individuals providing it, both visible and celebrated.
