Michelle confirmed a trend I'd begun noticing: people tend to take proper cameras - I am shooting all of these on 35mm, in color - more seriously than they do cell phones. Michelle preened for my Olympus in a way she didn't for my phone, which I respect and celebrate as a reason to hold onto analogue systems, not least of all, the mail itself.
