I met Jason, like many of the letter carriers I introduced myself to in May, while out on a walk with a very charming toddler; a friend of mine called me in for help with childcare, which proved a multi-pronged blessing, partly because toddlers make great wingpeople. Jason reminded me how many letter carriers do their entire routes on foot, making USPS an incredibly green enterprise.
