I met Mike on one of my bike jaunts to Soho, to observe and photograph the aftermath of the 'looting.' When he saw my last name on my business card, he asked if I lived in the neighborhood, as it sounded familiar. This I take as concrete evidence that postal workers are exactly the sort of community presences that should be funded - more so than, say, the police.
