March 25, 2024: I got to see, hear, and meet Ross Gay at Big Ears. I can't stop thinking about how one of my favorite parts of his reading was the fact that it contained a symphony of giggles. I sent him a letter to tell him so, and ask who his favorite laugh-based musicians are. This thinking threw me in a rabbithole about laugh tracks, and the so-called laff box - bigtime recommend.
