January 12, 2017: Between my belated reading of "Words Will Break Cement" and her incessant Trumpslaying, Masha Gessen's been a highlight of my past few months. I've taken her autocracy rules for survival as a bible, and think of her often as I consider how to be more fierce. Please keep in mind that she now lives in the States - from Russia - identifying as a gay refugee. She's front and center in the "Read my lips" shirt, and I'm evermore enamored by her.
