November 17, 2019: David Jackson and Conservation Ambassadors were the great discovery of a date with my sister to see "Stuffed," a charming documentary on taxidermy. Jackson helps rehabilitate displaced, abused, injured, and/or abandoned wild/exotic animals and puts them to work as educators in all kinds of contexts. AKA, he's a version of who I want to be when I grow up. I figure the next best is offering myself as an enabler of a Peter Hujar-style portraitist of the animals.
