May 25, 2021: It's hard to watch anything by Steve James, beginning with "Hoop Dreams," and imagine that he is anything but decent and kind. And what did a dear friend enlisting light production help recently reveal? He sends cuts to his subjects to be sure they feel they're being fairly depicted. A moral compass! A lighthouse for me, someone folks seem to like to enlist to help light their way.
