January 13, 2016: I snuck my first public profanity in through a quote, citing Scout Finch's line "Pass the damn ham, please" at a family Thanksgiving. My fourth grade class had a pet finch named Atticus, and even after I was older than Scout I wanted to be her when I grew up.
