July 9, 2016: Donna Lieberman is really not a stranger: she's the mother of one of my elementary school students, making her a surrogate parent in my youth. But, during the horrific summer when the States seemed completely ablaze with state-sanctioned murder, she made me feel better, and the least she deserved was a letter.
