January 8, 2024: On the recommendation of a friend, I binged the first season of Anderson Cooper's "All There Is" driving myself back to New Orleans from New York, on the heels of my father's memorial service. I've only scanned the season two episodes so far, and am flabbergasted that Andrew Garfield's not yet made an appearance. Another friend directed me to his interview on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert (who, unsurprisingly, talked to Cooper on season 1), which I find astoundingly beautiful. It's not simple, but grief is a manifestation of love, and I understand his wish for it to stay with him. I also love that he felt the most held leaping into the ocean, the most relatable sentiment anyone can express, for me, in any situation. It's come to my attention I've actually never seen him in a movie but I certainly like the way he flirts with Amelia Dimoldenberg! So I wrote him a letter. (Photo c/o YouTube)
